Laura and Katie Engagement Shoot

This past week I met up with Laura and Katie at the Webster’s Falls conservation area in Hamilton for their engagement shoot.  We really lucked out with the weather. It was pouring rain on the way to the falls but, when we arrived it stopped completely and left us with a beautiful afternoon.  Just a little overcast-the light I like to photograph in most.

The leaves in the area are in full fall colour.  Beautiful reds, oranges and yellows as far as the eye can see.  Webster’s Falls has some beautiful paths that travel through the forest and border on the river that runs through the area.  This spot is an important one for Laura and Katie- they got engaged here!  I always tell the couples I photograph to try to pick a place of meaning for them when we do our shoots.  I felt very lucky that Laura and Katie asked me to come along to this beautiful place that is very special for them both.

I had such a great day with this couple who never stopped laughing and smiling. I can’t wait to capture their wedding next year which I know will be filled with so much fun and so much love!
